is my problem with them. I tried to put my rental car on my gold card 2 trips ago as I had for about the last 3 years. They told me that they upgraded their computer system and it now shows them when people are trying to use a debit card. The problem is, my Visa isn't a debit card. How do I know this? My wife has worked at the bank for 15 years, 14 of that in retail. She now manages their training department. You could say she is somewhat familiar with the product.

So... to make a long story short, we had an impasse and I had to use another credit card. The problem is that I have complementary car rental coverage on the gold card. If I pile it into a scrap heap, it should be covered. I like that.
