I was looking at a cab door this weekend and I swear they have went up on their rates again. I remember just a month or so ago that the fare was $3.20 and $XX (can't remember) for every 1/8 of a mile. Now it says $3.20 and XX for every 1/11th of a mile???? Who the heck figures on the 1/11th??????

Option 1 for the Palms event: If you don't have a car, the best route is to walk to Sahara from Riv and take the Tram to Bally's. Walk across Flamingo to Bill's and take the free shuttle to the Gold Coast. Walk across Flamingo to Palms. This is, if they are still running from the GC to Bill's. All it takes is a phone call to the GC to find out.

Option 2 for the Palms event: Deuce to Harrah's and free shuttle to Rio. Walk to Palms.

Option 3 for the Palms event: Deuce from Riv Casino to Flamingo Casino. I think it is the #202 that runs up and down Flamingo road every few mins. Get off across the street from the Palms in front of the Gold Coast.

Also locals get tram tix for like a buck. If anyone needs any tram tix email me and I'll see how many I can get b4 the Convention. Beats the heck out of paying $5 a ride!
