But there seems to be some conflicting reports: if Doug states it was the 50’s instead of the 60’s, Elvis stay at the Doric Hotel “On 9/4/62 Elvis once again was in Seattle for the location filming of his movie "It Happened At The World's Fair." He stayed at the Doric New Washington Hotel while filming at the Seattle World's Fair.”.

I’m guessing the Doric Hotel is gone, since I can’t find anything else regarding the Doric.

Now that is one very cool matchbook! Now I’m going to have to back to my matchbooks and see if I have one in my collection.

So far, I haven’t seen any of the chips with major wear so I don’t know if they were not used in play or there is some unused inventory out there.
