I reviewed Day's work to find that most of the vintage plaques used within Monaco depict MONACO and not MONTECARLO or MONTE CARLO... Additionally, I feel if the pieces in question were issued by Société des Bains de Mer, that, too, would be depicted on the piece.

Nobody I know from Europe, including the late Victor GADOURY, has ever documented these pieces as being used anywhere in MONACO....

I would like to know who the manufacturer was (of this set and other similar sets).
