When I was a prosecutor, I charged a man with domestic battery. He came to court for his arraignment, the judge asked him if he had any questions. The man said yes, how can it be a crime if the dumb b*tch he beat up was his wife, your allowed to beat your wife aren't you? He received 180 days in the county jail to contemplate that question.
