In a moment of weakness I volunteered to help get the Atlantic City chip club more publicity of upcoming meetings to try to boost attendance and membership. Anyway, I need your help. I hope to do this entirely my e-mail so I need e-mail addresses/contacts of any of your local or daily newspapers, blogs, message boards, lists forums etc. that publish such community news items for free. I don't think we should limit this to South Jersey publications, or even Jersey publications. NJ, NY, PA, Conn., MD, Del., Va., Mass., whatever. people travel to AC anyway. they may as well combine it with a trip to our meetings.

I also need to know how to send the announcement so all the addresses don't appear at the top. I'm thinking I can send it to myself and then use a group mailing as a blind carbon copy. Would this work?

Also, to whom should I refer people for more information I'd rather not put my phone number or e-mail address in the announcement. I was going too refer them to the club's web page http://ccgtcc.com/chapters/ac/ but that would discourage non-computer-savvy folks who may have accumulated some really fine casino collectibles.
