Rio, FQ's, Atlantis AC, had a similar system with their slot cards. Difference was, the machines spit out aluminum tokens. I have 4 different ones from the FQ's. I am sure you old hands know this, but might be of interest to new Slot Card collectors.

I think the Atlantis was still using them at the time of closure.
Rio opened with them in Jan 90 and used them for several years.
A FQ's VP patented the system. They also owned the Atlantis. The Rio bought the rights from the FQ's. The FQ's changed over about 94.

The Golden Nugget stopped the ticket system just before I left the FQ's in Oct 96.
