Originally, every member of each Chapter was required to belong to the CC & GTCC. Additionally, each Chapter was required to submit annual reports to CC & GTCC. A few Chapters were in compliance ... most were not. Some Chapters became confrontational about the issue, even openly defiant.

Accoring to our legal representative, the club could jeapordize its tax-exempt status by having Chapters that had individual members who were not CC & GTCC members... which is why the Chapters were disbanded and became individual local clubs with no affiiliation to CC & GTCC.

Now before everyone wants to re-open this can of worms again... please do your homework and check the club's message board archives on this subject first.
