I've stayed at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs, surprisingly low weekend room rates. I also stayed at a Days Inn (I think it was a Days Inn -- been a few years) in Hinckley that had their own shuttle to and from The Grand. I enjoyed both casinos, but the Grand Casino Hinckley is definitely closer to MSP than the Mille Lacs. I could buy a beer at the Hinckley casino, but there is no alcohol at all inside the Mille Lacs casino.
