Hey Andy,
I posted before my first cup o'joe....it took me 2 posts to figure out I reversed the name and subject fields. I think you have good cause to question my hand analysis, lol.
Of course, I wasn't there, and have no feel for the table. My gut, even if your goal was winning is all, was to pass there, and look for a better spot. I think, had you pushed, you might of had enough to get him to muck QJ, but I was thinking he'd had better than QJ there. I really can't see calling, because you are pretty much pot-committed. May as well just push and pray, lol.
Just my two cents, and heck, I have not sniffed a final table in months!
My quick pre-Derby hype analysis, as brief as I can be: Street Sense may be used up, Curlin does not impress me (pedestrian paces in short-field races, see Lawyer Ron last year), I like Hard Spun but the 4th place finish two races back has me scratching my head, and I can argue for all of Pletchers entries (except Sam P.), especially Cowtown Cat who looks like he is peaking, and who will probably provide good value.
I am going to run a free virtual wagering pool here.....thanks for reminding me!
