from in Canada, but I gave a seminar in Toronto (where I could understand and compensate for the occasional 'out' and 'about'), but one of the top managers of Alberta Power sat next to me and every time he spoke I needed someone from Saskatchewan to translate.
It ain't English they speak there, and it sure ain't French. BTW, which do you think the Quebecoise think of an Alberta accent.
Anyhow, I think of myself as a friend of Canada forever because they brought us the game of Hockey. (Detroit whipped Calgary today, and Calgary players acted shamelessly about it - Downright un-hockeyish)
My only other gripe is Canadians run around spreading red maple leaves everwhere in their trail.
