There are several neat features you might find interesting. If you look closely at the red neon miner in the front corner of the building sign, the photo makes it look like the pick of the minor is moving up and down on the boulder. I've also never seen a miner in other postcards. Maybe it was only noticeable at night.
Secondly, you can see the sign for the Apache Hotel entrance on 2nd St, but beyond that is the Apache Hotel neon sign with the signature Indian head on top. It's no longer high up on the building on Fremont Street. I guess the Eldorado didn't want any distractions from its own sign to it got moved.
Finally, You can see the people gambling. Not very well, but this appears to be a short time-exposure and the photo is a bit blurred in the postcard as well as the scan.

This is a nice night photo of the Eldorado Casino circa 1947/51. Judging by the cars out front, I'd guess it was in the 40's, but I may be wrong. I just received the color chrome post card in today's mail from the eBay seller.
