Chip Photos
In Response To: Advice an taking chip photos ()

Most of the really good photos that you see are scans from a scanner. If you have a flatbed scanner, this would be the best way to capture your photos.

If you do not have access to a scanner, your high resolution camera will work fine. To take a nice looking photo you need to take into consideration lighting and position. Try to take the photos in a room without warm light - neon office lights are good (the bright white). Also with the 6mpx you need to have the camera sitting or butted against something. The best option is to get a stand that you can mount the camera to. Any movement, even pushing the button can cause those blurry photos.
