I recall a discussion that someone had (I think at Scott Keen's site). He was getting distracted from his play when people were buying/rebuying/cashing out. He toyed with the idea of dispensing chips via a candy machine.

He'd have bundles of say $60 for buying and rebuy bundles (single $25 chips -- make change at the table). He'd still have to handle the cash outs, obviously.
