You seem to challenge my perceived piercing of Mr. Shoop's statement. Notwithstanding the fact that I simply inquired, seeking a verification, for my own edification of course, of his position that he goes to Las Vegas to get away from the snow.

In order to achieve full disclosure, I am aware that Mr. Shoop lives in Ohio, and while he does travel to other locations, I am unaware of his making more than the annual trip to Vegas for the convention. Important point, he himself never suggested that he does otherwise, and in fact his response seems to support that premise.

If my question was in fact a statement, then it would have a vaid support. But far more important is the commonly held rational for attending the convention. It is fun. The convention is not a boring litany of cerebral discussions, but an opportunity for individuals who share a similar passion to congregate in a social matrix.

The query is...Does Mr. Shoop escape to Vegas to get away from the snow? He, hmself, has tendered the best answer to that cunundrum, it is a mental buildup. The snow may be gone (or not yet come, depending on how you view it), but the mind has wrestled with the anomolies of weather, family, work, and all the other societal pressures that we bear under.

This accumalation of mental weight from what is commonly referred to as 'Life', seeks a cocially acceptable release. For Mr. Shoop, from his own admission, this occurs during his sojourn to Las Vegas and the convnetion. There are undoubtably others who share this method of release, I acknowledge a shared state of mind as regards this issue.
