Except they were all together until Tony George created the split and the IRL when he formed his own league to spite CART. So I view it as Tony should end the split and get back together with the Champ Cars. (fine point, but I agree, we only need one league)

If that happens, you can expect at least 1/3rd of the teams to cut back, and some of the cars, supported by league owners (both leagues) to disappear. We'd probably only have 22-24 cars Max. after that. And since these are cabs with bumping and banging, any more cars would be un-safe.
