If you're referring to the postcard thread that I started on the club board, here's my problem...

When I joined the club I decided to NOT have my name published in the membership directory. The club offered that option, and I went with it. The reasons don't matter at this point.

I honestly didn't think anything of it when I received 4 campaign postcards in the mail.

Then I read a thread on the club board regarding privacy and the use of our addresses. Someone in the thread explained that a member could choose to not have their information published. That reminded me that I'd chosen to not be published. I still didn't really think anything about receiving the postcards...at that point I kind of thought that 'the club' had sent them out, even though they had individuals names on them.

Then I was kinda reading a thread about the non-secret ballots. 'Kinda' because the posts were long (Kinda like this one is getting...sorry!! )... and a phrase (which I no longer remember) caught my attention. It indicated that every effort had been made to insure that the elections would be completely fair.

It then occurred to me that I'd received 4 postcards in support of Wayne & Belinda...and since I'm supposed to be on the DNP (do not publish) list, Jim F. and Joe P. wouldn't have the same access to my address that the incumbants had. Seemed to me that someone had used "insider information" to send me campaign material. That's what bothered me.

Since then, I've heard from Belinda that my name is not on the membership roster that is available to all club members.

I've also heard from a LM who isn't on the BOD, that my name and address ARE on the membership list that he has.

So I don't know what in the heck is going on .

sooooooo...I guess people think I'm complaining about the postcards, and that means I can't be in the clique/click
