Ed; Quite possibly everyone is not as knowledgeable about the candidates as you are. There are many new members in the club who don't know who is who ... especially those who do not frequent the various message boards or who are not on-line.

As I've mentioned previously ... I often receive personal requests for my choices for candidates from such new members who don't know who to vote for and ask for guidance. Such was the case after the last A.C. club meeting a week ago. I think a postcard may help in such cases. It shows that some candidates appreciate your support and make an extra attempt to seek it.

Then again, sometimes certain campaign strategies backfires ... or does not work out as originally planned, as in your case.
