First, congratulations on getting "caught up" in this great hobby!

Although I'm sure others will disagree, I like LEs too and think they are a fine collection. My collection is mostly LEs, although I do collect the current $1 and $5 house chips, as well as some $2.50s. Personally, I think you have the right attitude...collect what you like!

As for resources, the best you'll find I think is The Chip Rack (referred to as TCR) that lists *all* chips released by Nevada casinos. The 10th edition is the newest and was released in 2004. Thus, it's not really current, but I understand the authors are working on the next edition.

You may also want to check out Paul Hegge's site, "Silver State Treasures" at http://www.silver-state-treasures.com/ He has scans of almost all the chips released.
