Both Martinique and Guadeloupe are the only two
Caribbean Islands I know of with the least amount of
chips leaving (by Americans). The oldest casino
jetons known from Guadeloupe date back to 1825:
POINTE-A-PITRE, le Cercle du Commerce. Known in
1/4, 1/2, 1 and 16 GOURDES (there goes that 16
denomination, again).
