that is probably because I am very partial to what I use instead. Generally, I use an obsolete Vegas chip in a foam-ring airtite. My current favorite is a grey, Dunes roulette, the one with the standing Sultan.

I also use a $5 Dunes (marquee) and a Union Plaza bi-centennial, depending on how I'm feeling. But the reason I use them (aside from protecting my cards) is that they often start conversations.

Actually, I picked up the Dunes (marquee) when a player asked about the Union Plaza bi-centennial chip. The player said he had an old chip and brought it in the next night. I ended up buying it.
