Eddie's was a small little dump on Maine Street in Fallon. The chips from there are monogrammed and hot stamped as EHG. Further research indicates that probably correct as I found his middle name was Henry. This from great website:

THe joint opened on July 19, 1952 and closed in 1957.

Eddies Full name was Edwin Henry Gieratz.

Born early 1906 and died in Fallon in 1977.

Next two posts are rare pictures from the 1953 and 1954 Fallon High School yearbooks for advertising.

Apparently Eddie was involved in some other gaming endeavors and I hope to be able to post those too.

I have made contact with his grandson and hope to get a personal rememberance from him to post.

Stuff like this is what makes it all worth it.

There is a glimmer of hope that the Harrah's Fallon question will be solved.
