What you are seeing are people that would rather skip the drive or the flight, skip the trouble of setting up and lugging showcases, the high cost of rooms, and the costs of dealer tables and offer chips to thousands on the internet versus a couple hundred at best coming thru the shows.

Even if you don't get top dollar on eBay, you probably are only going to get mid-dollar at a show if you really want to sell.
