There are a number of early collectors who have created large collections, who are now reaching an age where they may want to downsize their collections, or unburden their families.

There are a lot of younger, newer collectors, coming in who want to buy at a good price. Seems like a good flow, and an opportunity for experienced collectors to share their passion, their advice, their values, and their chips with newbies. I certainly appreciate the assistance of senior collectors, and their guidance.

I've seen the point made that we are only custodians of the chips, that is why a 'repaired' or 'alterred' chip is a concern of the hobby at large (but that is another discussion).
