I view these as great opportunities to obtain chips I want at fair prices. It might be viewed as a selloff, but as with all things there are increases and decreases in demand. Smart collectors will take advantage of decreases in demand to fill holes in their collections.

Too bad we couldn't have all been around during the fabled early days of collecting when there was zero demand and people traded chips with much less regard for their "value".
