I have been collecting Borlands since roughly 1995.
David Spragg and I decided some time ago, we were going to put together as many of Bill Borland's chips as possible into one collection. As it turned out many others were collecting them also.
We got lucky and found Borlands sample box.
Through collectors, ebay, and friends of Borland, I think we have quite a collection. Hopefully someday it will reside in a CCGTCC Building. Hopefully sooner than that we can get it uploaded to a website.
There is more to tell in the Borland story. We talked to Bill's brother. We know the story on Jerry Walls place in the story. Hopefull we will get the story up soon.
Here is an update on what we have so far.
689 different Borland chips. He was a busy boy.

Borland hotstamped counterfeits = 95
Borland fantasy dated chips = 108
(we believe the dated 108 chips is a complete collection.)
Borland others = 486.
I have 10 more on the way from a collection just purchased to make 496 "others".
We have no idea how many other Borland "Others" exist.

Some of the counterfiets and "others" are one of a kind as far as we know at this time.
