I just bought two slots recently. This one is scheduled to arrive by Fed Ex tomorrow, sometime. It's been professionally restored, and as you can see from the photo, looks absolutely gorgeous. It's essentially the same as the Bursting Cherry, except that it originally came in that subdued brown color (with international orange burst) to attract less attention in clubs where the law might be lurking.
The reason I'm more picky with this than other slots is because it's a 10c machine. Dimes are very small and lightweight, and often don't feed well, especially in an otherwise marginal slot machine. Just because of the escalator I'm expecting to have more trouble with it than is usual - which is why you can take several hundred dollars off of a dime machine versus a quarter or nickel machine.
This other one I couldn't pass up. It's also a Mills (the only two Mills in my collection) but I've always wanted a genuine (not 1950's reporduction) War Eagle. The fact it came with the hand carving is just frosting on the cake.
