I've seen several implosions and they happen in a split second. You can't see much more than dust when you're that close.

Between two of those pictures I turned around to see the countdown on the building. When I saw the top floors start to crumble, I turned around again to face the camera. I thought it would be more fun to have a picture of me with the building going down behind me than to see it go down.
