... I went to a flea market today and browsed the wares. Knowing I would run into kids I stuck a new roll of the George Washington Dollar coins in my pocket to give to a kid here and there. I was enjoying a cold drink in the shade where a mother and her daughter were standing and the little girl smiled and said "hello." I spoke an reached in my pocket for one of those coins to give her (only way I can get cute girls to talk to me LOL) and when I handed it to her mother snarled and said, "That's on of those new dollars without IN GOD WE TRUST on it isn't it?"

I told her no this was a common one like all the rest with IN GOD WE TRUST written around the rim, but I would sure like to get my hands on one of those that does not have it because it would be wourth thousands and be a one-of-a-kind!

I told her I read the email too that some dope is trying to spread about the new dollar coins. The motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST' is not put on our money at the whim of the printers, it is LAW that it MUST appear on every denomination of US currency both coin and paper. The motto has been challenged 3 or more times and was squashed like a bug everytime. SO UNLIKE RUMUR your government is NOT trying to take GOD off our currency. Whether you aggree or disagree those ar the FACTS... don't fall for that email rumor that states the US Mint purposly took it off.
