I sold a 400.00 set of licence plates to a guy in Paris and they were insured. For whatever reason when they were delivered by a private courier service and they wanted 60.00 for delivery plus the customs duty so his wife refused the shipment.

Then he came after me for a refund. My position was that I did my part and they arrived in Paris per your shipping instructions.

More nasty Emails from him. All a trace would reveal was leaving the US. Finally they came back to me 3 months later. I ended up sending them to his friend in Salt Lake City. He apologized profusely.
