While one definition fits Nevada issued chips ... it does not necessarily fit other gaming juristictions ... A.C. included.

While we have redemption notices in A.C. the notice does not give deadlines for example (as does Nevada) at which time a particular chip or series of chips will no longer be redeemable.

Playboy, Golden Nugget, Atlantis, TropWorld, Sands, Trump Castle, Brighton, Boardwalk Regency, Bally's Grand, The Grand chips are all still redeemable in A.C.

Chips from the now-closed Sands as one more recent example can be redeemed at Bally's next door ... but there is NO set deadline to present chips at which time they will no longer be redeemable after that date.
