Pulled it out of the box, plugged in power cord, telephone cord, keyboard cord, mouse cord and turned it on. I was on the web in minutes! Prior Macs: 6100, Quadra 610, cx and LCII.

Greg, I've never had a problem getting to your site. Regardless of ISP speeds, Mac/modem speeds, memory, O/S, browser or ISP (to include AOL). Is you buddy's problem the Internet, or just your site? I've been through quite alot with the Mac, and might be able to help out.

For all you Wintel-based users (which is a fine platform) who also have scanners attached to your systems....was it a piece of cake to make the scanner work?
