It's my favorite place downtown. It's central to everything downtown, and only a short walk. It's got a pool, and usually it's only $39 a night during the week.

The rooms are decidedly not fancy and the restaurants leave a lot to be desired. But the rooms are cheap and clean, the roof-top pool is old but cooling on a hot day, and it's centrally located.

It also has pretty low minimums, including mini-bac which is not easy to find downtown.

I recommend it without reservation.
