Katie, Whenever there was a big fight, many of the boxers would come to train at the 5th Street Gym in Miami of the Allen Park Gym in North Miami. I had the great pleasure of meeting Ali, Alexis Arguello, Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard & a number of others. I used to fish with Angelo Dundee down in the Keys. His wifes' sausage sandwiches gave me the worst heartburn I ever felt but they were great. I took a picture of Ali just before he embarked on a world tour in 1984. It took me a half hour to get him to stand still. I had the picture enlarged & gave him one which he said he was going to put in his house. I had him autograph the other & I have it framed & it is on the wall of one of my offices. This used to be a great place for boxing fans. Alas, Vegas now has most of the action.
