I was told a large number were sold direct to 'eccentric James Bond collector' who apparently bought one of the tables used as well.
I dont know who he is but he lives in London.
He was said to have bought 1700 chips, mainly $10's. It is even possible that rack you bought was the 'broker's commission' for doing that deal.

No info on what was destroyed in the fire other than they specifically quoted "the entire set for a number of older Bond movies"

I have seen some occasional $10's show up on ebay over here 'for UK buyers only'. Fetched about the same prices as yours.
