Thanks for the answer Mark. I thought that was the way it was now.

When I was growing up, me and a high school buddy wanted to be railroad engineers. We used to go down the Rock Island main line that ran through town and the train crew would let us ride on the locomotive while they changed out grain cars.

To make a long story short, I eventually ended up building airplanes (until I got laid off after 12.5 years) and my buddy ended up working as an engineer for BNSF in Missouri.

After my lay-off from Boeing, I was going to give working for the railroad a whirl but my buddy told me that "railroad work divorces a man from his family in this day and age and if I thought anything of my family I wouldn't do it." So I guess I'll never work for the railroad.
