There is still a casino in Victoria. I was there two years ago. They had table games, slots but no poker.

According to the site, there is still no poker or craps there.

Enjoy Victoria. It's a beautiful city! If you're out there long enough check out the downtown and the Empress Hotel. It's a beautfiul old hotel.
