Finally got out of our suite for a little free time. Weather last night was a bit exciting. 70-80 knot winds and 14' seas. By this morning it was beautiful, calm and clear.
Viewing is unbelievable. Had a Polish research person zodiac out to the ship and give a 30+ minute presentation over the intercom.
Doesn't look like I am going to be hanging around to visit Staeffler Ridge Line outside McMurdo. Would take a bunch of special papers and a ton of money.

Driving the wife nuts as I refuse to see the doctor and she want to know how to get me and all the luggage home. Sounds like a personal probmlem {VBG}
