over detail.
I must have confused your equally unplausible story with someone elses.
Now Ive searched back through years of emails and ebay listings, here is a summary for you and everyone else.
1. You win 3 of my ebay auctions on 8th January 2004.
The total is $23.27 + $4 shipping.
2. You email me after the 3rd item ends:
"I am leaving on Thursday at 7 a.m. for one week.
Will pay by PayPal upon my return, next Wednesday."
3. You email me on 14th January and tell me the shipping should only be $2 and you want it insured for $1.30. At this point you dont seem to understand where the UK is and that minimum insurance was $6 from here. I send you an invoice via ebay.
4. You email me on 22nd January asking me to confirm what the chips are that you won and asking if I want paypal.
5. I hear nothing more so I raise an ebay NPB alert on 31 January, which triggers an email to you.
6. On 1st Feb you reply to that ebay email:
"Just got back in town after 1 week.
Will let you know!"
7. An hour later you reply to my previous email:
"Sorry David......................I was traveling for work!
Let me know what I owe you....................in U.S. dollars.
Can I paypal you?"
(AT THIS POINT YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN TOLD 4 TIMES WHAT THE TOTAL IS IN US$ AND THAT I TAKE PAYPAL)
8. 4th Feb I receive this one:
"Hi this is Tom ........please be patient with me!
Going through a Mortgage Forclosure on my home!
If need be we can cancel this and I will pay your Ebay fees!
Things happen unexpectedly......................I will pay you within a few days!
Again sorry about delays, but at this time I'm trying to save my home!
I'm being honest, hope you understand"
9. 2 hours later I get this one, asking for the same info yet again, stalling yet again.
"Working on sending now......................
can you send me a PayPal link with all your information!
As well as types of currency you want. U.S. U.K. ?"
10. Almost immediately after I get another:
"Next day or 2..............................I do not want to suffer any negative feedback!
My wife was was handling all bills................and WOW the @hit has hit the fan
Working through it though................thanks again for understanding"
11. Feb 10th and you email me:
"I sent the below message to you.......................payment has been sent!
I sent it on Friday the 6th."
(NO PAYMENT WAS EVER SENT)
12. Feb 18th I send a final reminder. This is the response:
"Yes personal check was sent last Saturday!
Had to double stamp it................................Tom"
13. When I email you on March 8 that I still havnt had any $$ you tell me you dont have the $$ and you should have backed out, and then tell me
"go ahead and ding me" (which I assume means leave negative feedback)
14. A full 6 minutes later you change your mind, you dont want to be negged, you offer to pay my lost ebay fees to prevent it. I tell you to send $2 by paypal.
15. 2 days later and you are back asking what my paypal address is and asking how much to send.
16. March 11 I receive a paypal for $2.
With all the $hit thats gone in the previous 2 months you then have the cheek to put this note on the paypal payment:
"Do you have any Wrigley, Yankee, Cominsky $5 Tropicana chips?"
====================
Now, for the record, and for your memory which seemingly goes blank every 24 hours, that was the first of two times you stiffed me. You can search your own emails for the details of the other one. If you didnt keep them then I suggest from now on that you do.
