Although, outstanding chips from the now-closed Sands can be redeemed across the street at Bally's... but I don't believe they will be devalued. Several chip destruction programs have taken place at some properties ... but all A.C. chips are still redeemable.

Trump Plaza recently destroyed EVERY CHIPCO L.E. chip on the property a few months back.

We've had these discussions before, but I still don't think that the term "obsolete" can be applied equally to Nevada chips vs. A.C. chips.
