The story they tell about Man of War is why he never ran in the Kentucky Derby. When they first started the Derby the owners felt this was to early in a horses career to race. The owners would not run him in that race that soon. So they kept him out.

He was the Greatest horse that ever lived so far. They show his horse stride from time of the front legs to the back legs meet the ground. By far the strongest horse ever and yet they kept him out the race.
