But the point is that many of you are not getting your messages out effectively, nor is at least one club officer reading them... by his own admission. If the rest of the club officers choose to keep their heads in the sand,(except for two of them) then it seems to this "old fart" that you may have to stick your message down into the ostrich's hole where they WILL read it. If that takes pen and paper and a .33¢ stamp, then that's what must happen. However, I don't think it does require a .33¢ stamp for those of you who are too frugal to spend a third of a buck on such important matters (in your minds). All it takes is an email. If you can take the time and effort to type a message and post it on a public bb, then you can cut and paste the same note and email it to the officer(s) to whom it is intended. Look, I don't particularly care for the lack of public response from the top officers either. Some legitimate posts deserve a public response, especially if they are posted on the club message board. However, I must admit that anytime I've emailed any of the current club officers, I've always received a courteous reply.

Some of you guys are spoiled. Some of you seem to think that the sun rises and sets on your computers and all the club's problems can be solved by the use of the keyboard and a modem. I'll say it again, over and over, and again, and again. This bb is not representative of the entire club membership... and those who think it is are only fooling themselves. It will be interesting to this old fart to see how many who seem to have all the quick-fix answers will put their names in the hat when it comes down to the nitty-gritty next year. Paul can't even get more than one person to give up a half hour of their time to sit at the club table at Casinorama ..... out of well over 140 hits to his post. John Benedict faced a similar situation for Florida's ANA mid-winter convention. Talk about a lack of interest! I could go on and on.... but then the individual responses would go on and on ... and I'm not about to consider answering each and every one of them.

I have adopted a new bb policy. I say what's on my mind in response to what I read on this board if I feel that it warrants a comment. After I've said my piece, you can accept it or reject it, but I'll leave all the in-fighting for the rest to post and have fun with.
