Oh man...trading. 1.) 5 : 1 doesn't seem to reflect most collectors thinking, I'd wager. Your values in 2.) are representative of what most folks expect. 3.) Looks okay.

I got manuveured into a very uneven offer early on in my club days and the deal bothered till I figured out what my own guidelines should be. In this instance, turned out I was way ahead by making the acquaintance of a very nice fellow and looking over this thread, I find the names of some other guys I'm pleased to share the hobby with that I have met at the trade table, Smith, Gagnon, and Episale. These days trading isn't an activity to advance my collection but mostly an act to be part of the hobby and I get more benefit at trading by meeting and greeting, smoozing and evesdropping on expert opinion and just butting into things! Shoot, last trade session I went to, I didn't even take my traders and it was my good fortune to meet Jane Voller! Pretty cool, I'd say. If I put a chip in the trader book/rack, it's gonna move! If I want value outta the beastie, I'll put it on eBay or tender it for sale in a very careful way. Shoot Doug, you've just given me at least one chip and other folks have given me the benefit of lowering their expectations just so I could have a particular chip. I have found enjoyment in returning this sort of thing in my chip dealings. I guess what I've learned here in this hobby is that value comes your way in many different forms.
