TCR has the Nevada Club closing in 1962
TCR has the following listings for Nevada and Diecar molded chips.
V1176 - Red Diecar - Starter Chip - listed as Borland counterfeit
V3136 - Navy Nevada - Starter Chip - listed as a real chip - F rating
N6052 - Red Nevada - Starter Chip - listed as a real chip - G rating
V1177 - Black Diecar - Starter Chip - listed as a Borland counterfeit
If the 1962 closing date on the Nevada Club is correct, I strongly urge the authors of TCR to change all of the above listings to Borland Counterfeits.
Facts that I believe I can prove.
The 1st Nevada mold chip was made in 1965 for the Nevada Dice Co.
The 1st Diecar mold chips was made in 1971 or 72 for the Nevada Dice Co.
All Nevada and Diecar molded chips were made at the Burt Co pre 1981 and distributed by Bud Jones.
Bud Jones stopped distributing the 2 molds in 1980 or 81 and sold the rights to the molds to our friend Borland in 1987 or 88.
All Nevada and Diecar molded chips after 1988 were made at Atlantic Standard and shipped to Bill Borland.
Any casino that closed pre 1965 can not have a Nevada mold chip.
Any casino that closed pre 1972 can not have a Diecar mold chip.
I suggest that anyone that doubts the above, talk to Bud Jones and Jim Blanchard.
