I have liked Von from the first time I chatted with him here. He is always sincerely interested in what is going on with everybody. When somebody hasn't been around, he notices, and looks to make sure they are OK (He did it with me this past August). My prayers and thoughts are with him. He is very close to his father, whom he speaks of often.

We frequently make mention of the valiant folks in the armed services, but let us not forget the men and women who protect us from evil here at home.
