I have several red monogram chips. With my computer skills, if I shoot them five times they will look different each time. It depends somewhat on the color of the light source for the photo. If you shoot two chips side by side in daylight they will look one way and if you shoot the same two chips with tungsten light they may appear quite different to each other. It sounds like a Myth Busters project in the works.
