There was a slots-only place that opened in Las Vegas around 1952 called The Chatter Box. I'm wondering what the chances are that this token is connected to that location. I have always assumed that Las Vegas slot machines of that era probably used ordinary nickels--not tokens bearing their name. This coin is nickel-sized, by the way.
An eBay search turns up a "good for" dime-sized brass token from a Chatter Box located in Chicago. And, I'm sure there have probably been dozens of other places around the country called The Chatter Box.
Any thoughts one way or the other?
