I have volunteered each of the last two years (but not my first year). I would have if asked, but chose not to include it (originally was where shoes is) because the first convention can be a bit overwhelming.

I have been very lucky to serve at the membership table, and have also met a bunch of great folks. My first year, I was lucky enough to meet many of the folks you listed by talking to the volunteers (isn't that how we met? I know that is how I met Tyrus).
