... Rich -- my idea is to try to minimize them as much as possible. The more detailed the grading system, the easier it is to manipulate and abuse. If we had a club sponsored, "official" system (or set of definitions) which is simple, it would go a long way toward heading off the most serious abuses.

And, as I have said, or will say, elsewhere, I'm concerned that if we do nothing as a club, an unacceptable system will worm its way into the hobby against our will.
