It was depressing to read your posts ranting about the Gaming History website, Mike Skelton, David Spragg, and myself.
It seemed you wanted to make a case that it was our site and us against your site and you.
It seems to me the two sites should compliment each other. Actual manufacturer’s records and actual scans of items from some of the casinos. IMO the History of our hobby is what both sites are all about.

It is pure asininity to think someone from our club would even think about, let alone, tell you to take your site down or even make any changes to it. I have used your site in the past to identify an initial chip I was researching.

I knew nothing about the committee Mike was forming until I got an email from Mike asking me to volunteer. If I understand it right, the idea came from Howard Herz. I was thrilled to get the chance to work with someone in our hobby that is IMO one of the most knowledgeable people in our hobby when it comes to the history of what we collect.

There are still 1,000’s and 1,000’s of manufacturer’s records out there to be found. I hope to be part of finding them.
Howard more than likely has numerous pieces of different types of gaming history pieces and information. I would hope he would want to display them on a web site. If it is the gaming history website, that’s great. If not then I intend to help build and help pay for a website to display whatever he has.

The history of our hobby is not about me and not about you. It is not about one website against another website. It is not about who does what.
It is about knowledge and bringing knowledge and research materials for our hobby into the computer age. The records I had were not doing anyone any good sitting in my closet. IMO they belong to the chip collectors of this world.

Your posts and the email you sent out was uncalled for and unwarranted.
We are not your enemy.
